Not at all - more like a young Bill Clinton in his SF mayor days. But his policies were were very gay-friendly, that's where the idea came from.

Thanks for clarification. Yep, I think they are gonna throw Bloomberg in at 2020 and have Newsome & Beto lined up for 2024. I just don’t see any Dem women capable of a national stage for all their talk about women. I think the Republicans have a deeper bench in that area.
