A pest controller has snared a monster 21-inch long rat he believes is the biggest ever caught in Britain.
Terry Walker, 53, was working with his trusty dog Max when they trapped the enormous creature as it was shuffling from beneath some rubbish behind a row of shops in Bournemouth on Friday.
The catch means Mr Walker has regained the record he lost last year to rival exterminator Daren George.

We have a Rat Terrier with exactly those markings!
Most of them are black and white, but ours is black and brown, like the one in your photo.
GREAT dogs, by the way. Lot’s of personality and they hate rodents.

Mr Walker, the manager of TP Pest Control Services, has more than 20 years' experience as a rat-catcher but said they have got much bigger in the last five years. Hmmm, wonder what's changed in the last five years to make rats thrive so much? Can't put my finger on it ....
