Not credible.
Lots of this was covered in a Congressional report about a decade ago.
This seems to be just a rehash by some lobbyist group.
Anybody know anything about the group that sponsored this?
You are mistaken.
U.S. Gov’t and fellow power infrastructure peers are preparing for impending EMP-CME incident.
PREPARE.

Maybe N Korea and Iran getting closer to having deliverable icbms and nukes is worrying them.
“Anybody know anything about the group that sponsored this? “
I don’t even know their name.
But you can bet they have found a way to get paid from it.
There is no plausible man-made EMP that would take out the US, or the entire east coast for that matter.
Hundreds of megatons at 300 miles up? Maybe.
But nobody has bombs that big and very, very few have the lift capacity to get it that high. Certainly not the Norklandians or Iran.
But an enormous solar flare could do it. I stress enormous.
That they want more money?
This seems to be just a rehash by some lobbyist group.

We need a wall and we need to harden the grid against cyber induced EMPs and Solar induced EMPS...
