Ray Liotta- Chantix commercials
12-09-2018 | Me

Just saw that Liotta-Chantix commercial again. Is it me or does Liotta's face have that Botax/plastic look to it?

IMO, the guy is kinda creepy. Wasn't it him who played that creepy cop chasing after Kurt Russel's wife? Don't remember the name of the movie but he played the perfect part.

Miguel Ferrer is the son of Rosemary Clooney-—and the cousin of George Clooney.

I was more struck by his strange, stilted delivery. As if Chantix was having some very negative effects on his brain chemistry.

Maybe he’s just ageing. It happens. And it’s not always kind to all folks.

Someone else who did not age well was actress Alice Krige. I thought she was quite beautiful in her early career, but by the time she hit 40 she looked 60. To see her at her best, check her out in Chariots of Fire, Ghost Story, King David, Haunted Summer, See You in the Morning. She's probably best known as the Borg Queen in Star Trek: First Contact.

I saw her last on an episode of NCIS. She played Ducky's old flame who needed his help. She looked about the same age as Ducky (David McCallum); but in reality, David McCallum is twenty years her senior. Sad.

Overall, yeah, he does not appear to be in bad shape. As I said, I don’t know about the Botox.

It’s amazing how age wrecks us, ultimately. Just as soon as our brains figure out how to do everything, our bodies say “Ha, No Way, Jose...”

I remember her from “Ghost Story”. Great old scary movie.

Remember reading the book too.

Liotta was awesome in “Something Wild” as well; truly menacing as a near psychotic just released from prison:

Not really. What is amazing is how so many of us manage to make it to old age. When I think back on my youth, and the things we used to do. 8>)

If she’s started botox at just 20 then she’s already addicted.....

A lot of old women remain very beautiful, even if it’s a different kind of beauty; their dispositions help them to age nicely. (It probably wouldn’t be biologically useful for old women to go around looking like sexy young ones.)

And some women who start out beautiful wind up looking sour and grumpy when they’re old...

Inner beauty will always radiate outwardly....and vice-versa. I had an Aunt like that....beautiful lady says it well..inside and out.

Oh yeah, me neither. But I wonder sometimes how I got so lucky. By all rights I should have probably died a few times. 8>)

I think it all depends on the person. Some older women are like most men, who go for the younger versions. I have known some men who prefer the older versions of women as well, not just older younger women either. Then you have those who are younger that go for the richer older person, for their wealth. That is all they see in the person.

I like to see long lives well lived, in peoples’ faces; and a great sense of humor - those lines that indicate that someone has smiled and laughed a lot.

I agree. A lot of young women today would do well to pay more attention to inner development than they do to makeup, clothes, shoes, etc.
