Nothing, in other words, our rights will be safe until they are back in session.

If the Government shuts down, the most annoying government employees will still be working. It won’t be as good as a weekend or a holiday, even the government-only holidays. It will suck almost as much as usual.

Last time Obama shut down the parks and war memorials......it took extra gov workers to block and prevent people/veterans from using and visiting the sites. It didn’t work very good up here as people pay for the up keep with their tax dollars, so they cut the rope blocking the wildlife refuge and used it anyway.

Don’t pay the furloughed workers any back pay. Re-evaluate all non-essential roles in the government and start eliminating them entirely. If you look at the federal agencies listed on the govt website (I forget which one), eliminate every single one that is not specifically enumerated in the Constitution. The Fed government is not supposed to be involved in energy, education, arts, etc. Get rid of all of these free riders who are more interested in obstructing American liberty than in serving.

The House membership was limited to 435 because there was not enough space for more members. Now we have over a million clerks officing in DC afflicted by class envy who are dedicated to destroying our liberty and prosperity.
