I used to sail those waters every year and I’d see the Carnival ships at night lit up like the party boats that they try to be. It would be so easy to get someone you want to collect insurance on drunk enough that no one would be able to prove anything

You’d just have to be careful of the surveillance cameras. On my boat I’d be careful who I took out to sea for long cruises
It’s hard to fall over the railing accidentally. Now, being Thrown or climbing over the railing is another story.
People who have been on ships to the Caribbean the past few weeks have experienced some bad weather. It could’ve been caused by rough seas, wind, or a wet deck. People often lose awareness of the potential dangers of being at sea.
I heard a quote last night that it was not accidental, but I took that to mean suicide rather than an altercation.
