He probably knows that a White House full of Generals isn’t good. But one of the main activities of the ongoing coup attempt, has been to menace anyone who even thinks about going to work for Trump.
It has been 10 times as hard for Trump to attract the people he would have been able to bring aboard precisely BECAUSE of operations like an illegal Beria (”show me the man, I’ll find you the crime”) operation to get Flynn.
And following the Soviet model, the FBI/Mueller directly threatened his son. They are now doing the same with Trump’s family.

Can you imagine the pressure on insiders to not work for Trump? He didn't exactly show up in D.C. with a roster of sycophants like the witch or "low energy" would have. And some of those he did get were actually backstabbers. It's remarkable that he's been able to do as much as he has along with building an org from the ground up while under constant enemy fire.

The thing is if want illegal monitoring. Flynn was out of the country talking to the Russians.. It wasn’t illegal for him to do so and it wasn’t illegal for us to monitor the Russians especially when talking to others outside the US.
why did flynn go to Dominican Republic? If the Obama team got him to go there then it would be entrapment. We all know they were spying on Trump but it appears they got lucky with flynn leaving the country.

It appears that the entire operation was set up to entrap Flynn: oust the Russians while Flynn was out of the US, wait for their call to Flynn, catch Flynn in an ostensibly legal snare.
It was not legal because it was a set-up.
You may despise Flynn as you like. He has Constitutional rights, and the unelected apparatchiks are not lawfully permitted to abuse them!

Flynn should be thrilled that I think he’s a moron. Before I read the details of this case I was growing more certain that he was an Obama mole in the Trump campaign.

Judges question the defendants or attorneys for either side all the time in the presentation of a plea deal. If the Judge finds irregularities or incorrect findings of fact or failure of process he can set aside anything he wants.
Some of the Federal attorneys in the Stevens case he sanctioned are on the Mueller team.
