"Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" by Burl Ives for Boston Legal.
And staying with Boston Legal for Christmas, "Angels We Have Heard on High" from the Jug Mountain Boys
“Denny Crane”
PING
For the modern version of this Christmas classic, look up “Have a Rama Hanu Kwanza Mas, It’s the PC time of year”.
And not to forget my last music video announcements - Melania Fashions:
Melania Fashion Video 2 set to Telemann’s “Concerto In D-Major For 3 Trumpets.”

Last year’s Melania Fashion Video to the music of Joseph Blanchard.

That sounds wondrously funny.
My Christmas present to me is all five seasons of Boston Legal on DVD. This is one of the last great TV shows; it gets better with each viewing.
Ive binged it 3 times now. About 6 months ago was the last time.
Forgot to say I started with The Practice. Its where Alan Shore made his appearance.
About 50 years ago I remember Burl Ives on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. I remember it because ole Burl was sorta gruff and humorless and irritated when Doc’s band did not hit the right notes to accompany his guitar song. He wasn’t Holly Jolly at all.
Oh, I wish they would release ALL of Johnny Carson. That was a great show.
It’s only half funny when you listen to it. When schools ban Christmas cookies with red & green sprinkles because that might offend muzzies, atheists, & witches...you get the idea.
I love secular Christmas. I love sprinkles and Xmas trees and funny carols. And I’m sorry that there are people offended - whether they’re Christian bigots, or whatever. No one should have the right to tell anyone how to celebrate Christmas. Towns should have their creches, and people should celebrate in any way they want. Everyone has the right to their own view of Christmas or Xmas or Holidays, and should not be able to tell anyone else how to celebrate. Schools should do as they did when we were kids - celebrate EVERYTHING so that there’s something for everyone.
Old Burl was a hard left Socialist.
Totally humorless.
Sadly, so many of the progressives that I know actually don’t have a sense of humor, though they would indignantly declare they do. I like being a conservative. We can make fun of anything.
I can’t help about the Burl Ives parody “The Happy Happy Joy Joy” song.
