Watson and Holmes Finally Breaks Zero On Rotten Tomatoes
Rotton tomatoes ^ | 12/28/2018 | Nikos1121

I'm not sure if anyone has seen the trailer of this piece of crap movie, while at the movies this Holiday Season. Even the trailer is bad, but then again, it's Christmas and the family loves to go to the theater on Christmas Day to laugh.

I saw the trailer before watching Clint's Mule. I said to my partner, there is no way, I'd go to see this. I wouldn't go, if someone paid me to go...

I think I'd ask for my money back, if I had spent 90 minutes suffering through this one.

Fact is, Will Ferrell is not and has never been funny in my book. He's not even funny as in slap stick.

I bet if he pulled his pants down as a stand up he couldn't get a laugh. But he's in the forefront of other Hollywood, Trump bashers, so maybe that why he gets to keep making movies.

Best movies for me this year are:

Bohemian Rhapsody First Man

I also like Clint's Mule, because I like Clint even though it's generic Clint.

This movie is so bad apparently, that up until yesterday, it was getting a zero...yes a zero on Rotten Tomatoes. Out of some 40 reviews, I think two gave it the lowest rating possible.

Here are some of the reviews for this mind numbing piece of dog manure of a movie:

--If a comedy falls in the forest and nobody laughs, did it even exist? Joshua Rothkopf

--It's so painfully unfunny we're not sure it can legally be called a comedy. David Fear

--The Titanic of Sherlock Holmes films. Dennis Schwartz

--You'll need a magnifying glass to find the jokes in this send-up of other, better Holmes screen adaptations. ick De Semlyen

--I counted six laughs and three walk-outs. Brian Viner

--Smuggling in booze to dispel the sense of dull routine could only help. Ben Kenigsberg

I was surprised to read today that they somehow managed to get in some anti-Trump jabs IN A MOVIE ABOUT SHERLOCK HOLMES! Huh?
They deserve the 0% Rotten Tomatoes. Will Ferrell is a virulent Dim.

you should mark vanity pieces.

First Man as a good movie when the raising of the American Flag was left out of the movie? Bah, would rather go see trash like Watson and Holmes before I set foot inside a theater showing First Man. Wait neither is historically accurate so what’s the difference? The movie that tries to tear down America a relic of zero’s bois trying to rewrite the history of the United States.

Saw bits of the preview on youtube just now

--Rigging up an old fashioned camera for a selfie
--Holmes wears a fake moustache and the clueless Watson doesn't recognize him
--Young girl with Cockney accent--"yeah, no s--t, Sherlock!"
--Killer bees and a certain Queen; the one the Kinks sang about

Maybe a cheap variety show TV sketch but worth movie admission?

Comments to the video on youtube:

--This movie doesn’t even get better while on acid.

---Public Service Announcement... Do not waste your money to see Holmes & Watson. It was beyond horrible. The funniest part of the entire movie was walking out of the theater and hearing so many people saying "that was really bad"

----Only film I’ve ever walked out of, deserved the 0% on Rotten Tomatoes

-----Just saw it, wife walked out! It’s unwatchable unless your (sic) 10.

“First Man as a good movie when the raising of the American Flag was left out of the movie? Bah, would rather go see trash like Watson and Holmes before I set foot inside a theater showing First Man.”

You’re missing a very patriotic movie. The flag on the moon is in the movie. At one point there are so many American Flags you can’t count them.

The liberal media were out to trash Frist Man from the start and succeeded with the help of it’s dim witted Canadian actor who, wasn’t smart enough to keep his mouth shut.

First Man is movie about Neil Armstrong as opposed to the Apollo Mission.

I had the same sentiments as you, and I was bound and determined NOT to see it, then several FR posters said it was a patriotic movie.

It’s amazing film making.

I have never found Farrel funny at all. I figured it was just a generational thing, same as with Jim Carey. Now John Reilly is a very good character actor and it disappoints me to see him taking these crap roles but I can understand why - money talks. Same with Tom Hardy being in a comic book movie. Again, it’s disappointing to see an actor of his caliber stoop to such schlock but, again, comic book movies are the biggest (only?) money makers in Hollywood these days.

Farrel had one or two movies that gave him some opening. But there’’s nothing in the past five years. I think he’s about at the point of doing some TV show and then retiring.
