If a player’s team is not in the playoffs and is going to the NFL, there is no reason to play in a bowl game and risk a serious injury.

When players first started sitting out bowl games, coaches, fans and the media were mad. The reality is that most bowl games don’t really count for much. Two years later, no one knows who won what bowl, unless it was the FBS National title.

I wondered about that when the playoff began.

Money has pretty much ruined college sports.
