This was an optional lecture. Other incidents, including getting the cops called on him at the library for erratic behavior, occurred between the lecture and the subsequent email. He also doxxed the members of the committee on 4chan.

this kid is not suspended purely for the microaggression conversation. He has made many comments and remarks/threats this fall that were reported and has even been previously held back. he has a history. guy is weird.

I’ve run across some super sensitive folks from West Virginia who perceived any criticism as some grave insult about where they are from. However, one fellow was a bit different. My colleague found out that the president of the company we were doing a job for was a West Virginia native. My colleague’s usual approach was to inquire about the University’s football team and offer some praise about its prospects, trying to ingratiate himself. The guy replied, “don’t know and couldn’t care less”. — “You are from West Virginia, aren’t you?” —”Yes, and I got out as fast as I could.”
No microaggression from them but macroaggression is totally acceptable.
Hey, you can’t hurt someone’s feelings but you can ruin their lives and reputations.
Democrats are evil scum.
He should consider an alternate career with a right wing death squad - maybe a specialty in the murder of butch lesbian academics would suit him well? If he sets up a GoFundMe to that end, let me know.
