The electric motorcycle that Harley-Davidson announced back in 2014 is finally hitting the market this year.
Since 2014, Harley-Davidson has been working on developing its first electric motorcycle; at the Consumer Electronics Show on Monday, the company announced that the 2020 LiveWire model is finally available for pre-order before its official August launch.

So electric cars a really about controlling people, not saving the planet.
This is a joke, right?
Your house would require an electricity upgrade for charging. 110 or 220 volts is too small.
Your house needs 2000 to 4000 volts for adequate motorbike recharging.
The downside is your children risk electrocution.
For comparison, a death row, electric chair uses 2000 volts. Good luck kiddies. All for being green. Lol.
Bikers are all about freedom.
With a 110-mile range on one charge, EV Rider will have to plan his or her trip carefully before hitting the highway.
“Let’s see, every hour and a half I’ll have to stop for charging. Where are the recharging stations? How long will each charge take? What will I do to kill time (because it sure as hell can’t be drinking)? Ah, screw it, I’ll take the pickup. Damn, it’s nice weather out, too.”
What’s the 0-60 time? Quarter mile?
Electric powered!
Runs on batteries!
What runs on batteries?
TOYS!!!
The limited range is a killer for a performance bike. I would think cheaper electric scrambler-sized bikes with much less weight, less performance, but fun about town bikes would have a good market even if their range was only 70 miles.
$30,000 is a mighty expensive toy and the limited range tosses out touring, long commutes, and trips to the beach.
They have been racing electric cycles in the Isle of Man TT for a few years now in their own division, of course. They are mighty fast.
Just put pick a card from the deck and get a clothes pin and attacked it to the spokes.
You need one of these:

I have an earlier 22 Amp Hour version and love it!
Hauls my largeness up serious inclines just fine. Awesome in snow, sand, and mud. Nice and quiet. Built like a tank.
In a nod to Harley though, I did put Harley style footrests on mine... ;-)
Not sure I’d trade it for this Harley, other than to resell it, get a small fleet of the latest Beast-Duals!
The 2018 Scout? Yeah man, I know someone who bought the Sixty and immediately rode it to Sturgis. He planned it from the get-go and you cant get any rooms at Sturgis for 3 months prior..
$30,000 for a flipping motorcycle? What’s that after taxes? Nearly $40,000? I’ve been riding all my life, that includes Harley’s, dual sport, dirt bikes etc. And when I hear 30k for a flipping MC it makes me laugh.
I’m sure it’s a decent ride, but it LOOKS like a girly bike.
If they wanted to get into a growth industry, they would create a Harley branded motorized wheelchair.
Ha!
.
Well, to hell with Hardly Davidson!
Sell them in u-rope to the faggots.
