First off, the Why. The left has wanted DJT gone since election night. The hatred and contempt for DJT and his supporters is psychotic. But more importantly, the reason they MUST remove him now is because of the story about RGB that surfaced today.

RGB = Red Green Blue ... The colors the Q people see while on one of their psycho-delic trips into fantasy land.
RBG = Ruth Baider Ginsburg ... The living (sort of) result of one too many trips into the LSD-induced psychosis with which members of the Q-Continuum now flirt.

I doubt she will retire - she will be wheeled out on a gurney, under a drape. She is that committed to leftism and hating PDJT.
If you mean die, I don't think we have enough facts yet.
I'm certain she had a PET scan before the surgeons removed the two malignant nodules from her lung.
No surgeon will remove nodules with distant metastatic disease. She was probably Stage 1A and was likely cured, or possible get adjuvent chemotherapy depending on other factors.
If she was at a higher stage (Like 1B or above) things are dicier for her.
There are a lot of things we are not privy to.
Nevertheless, what I'm NOT saying is that she will NOT die soon. There are too many unknowns.
