Starting at $114,000.00 GEEZE and to think the first ones were only $7,500.00 of course NOW that car sold at auction for over 2 million!!! Over a hundred thousand for a car wonder how many they will sell!!!
Same with my RS Camaro. 180s were commonplace and even 360s on a wet pavement primarily due to the 56/44 weight distribution.
I pine after my old car every time I see one in a movie. Most recently noted one in an older movie called City of Industry. A silver one with a blacked out grill.
I was on the 5 on the way to Ventura Friday and one of the new hot roddish cars passed me doing at least 100. He went by so fast I couldn’t tell what kind of car it was.....and I was doing about 78.
The legend of the 1965 427 Cobra was that there were a few people who went to the dealer to test drive them and didn’t come back alive. Basically you could buy what was arguably the fastest production car on the planet at your local Ford dealer.
Nearly did that once in my friends 70 454 Corvette heading down the boulevard. All he did was shift from 3rd to 4th and punched it, on drive pavement, and that thing went completely sideways.
An Investment Opportunity?
Or a Walmart cart - last time, I was in Walmart I would have revoked a lot of cart licenses!! Is there something in the handle of a Walmart cart that causes people to lose all situational awareness and act as if other people don't exist?
I won’t live long enough for the ‘payoff’!........................
No he didn't. YOU DID!....................
Mustang Sally...heh!!
Wilson Pickett..heh!!
Ride around!!! Heh!! WOW!!!
When you buy a hell cat you sign something that says you won’t drive it in winter conditions.

It's an assault car. Nobody needs that much horsepower. I think New York and California should institute a 100 HP capacity limit.
My BIL bought a GT500 new in ‘14 - it’s no slouch at 662 HP...
It even happens to Corvette Pace Cars.
In places like LA they can really impress people while sitting in bumper to bumper traffic for hours at a time.
Nice car
However, many people do not realize how far performance cars have come.
A STANDARD Mustang GT prices at approx $35,000 out the door.
It has 460 hp and 420 lb of torque. And a top speed of 175mph.
It will go faster and stop faster than the original GT 500 of 1967, and do so more safely. It will handle better and provide all the creature comforts you’re accustomed to.
It has a lifespan of no less than 150,000 miles if treated badly, 200,000 with no abuse and regular maintenance.
And get 25mpg on the freeway.
You could not buy those parameters at any price in 1967.
Nice 2 seater, but if the rumors are true...I’d love to see a Mustang SUV...
