First of all, I cannot help you with that type of medicine, as I have no access or knowledge about it. I’m going to ask if two other meds have already been tried for your Dad.
Prednisone and Fentanyl? I’ve heard of either being used in severe rheumatism cases. Hopefully, he has some kind of coverage to help with the costs. Good luck to your Father.
He is blessed to have an adult child looking out for them.

Presdnisone has nasty side effects and fentanyl is a hugely addictive opiate.

Prednisone and Fentanyl?

Two drugs I would try to avoid if possible, but sometimes they are necessary. Fentanyl overdoses kill many many people than heroin overdoses.

Prednisone can easily make a person whacko... but it is good for anemia. If I could find an alternative for my Dad I’d do it because it really messes him up mentally.
