Beresheet means “in the beginning”, i.e. the book of Genesis.
To skip the opening festivities, time index 14 minutes or so. There was only one launch, mea culpa, both the Japanese satellite and the Israeli lunar rover were aboard the Falcon 9. It ain't braggin' when you can do it.

It’s safer for Israelis to travel to the moon than to Gaza or Palestinian areas of the West Bank.
Beresheet wasn’t even the primary mission, but it’s getting all the press.

I would not be surprised if a couple of Israelis are the next humans to set foot on the Moon. But also wouldn't be surprised if they just ride along with some less-ambitious undertaking.
