A man was arrested Monday after breaking into an apartment to shower and cook pork chops inside. 45-year-old Oscar Joseph Ledet was charged with burglary of a residence, a second-degree felony... Ledet said he had gone inside to get a vase he had left in there and then admitted he also used the shower and cooked some pork chops. Ledet added that there were other people in the apartment to help him move things out. Officials contacted the apartment resident who said he does not know Ledet personally but that he stays in the laundry room, however, he did not give permission to anyone to go inside the residence or take property from inside it.

The manager lets him stay in the laundry room but didn't tell him he could break into apartments. Not very security conscious.
It he cooked pork chops in the home of a muslim or lesbian vegan that’s a federal hate crime.

Because when you break into an apartment to get a vase you always need to take a shower, make pork chops and then have your friends help you move things out. (I suppose ‘things’ meant the vase).
Hygiene is important. But there is no mention of vegetables.
I like the stories where someone gets stabbed over pork chops...

NOT FUNNY!! I had a man or MEN come into my apt.....spend the nite on my bed...smoke a pack of my cigarettes....drink a few bottles of FRESCA.... eat a package of cheese and bread re handle all of my clothes....put my underwear UNDER my mattress cover.....and oh yeah....cut my phone lines!! Luckily, I had spent the nite at my sisters babysitting and they came home late....THANK GOD!! I would be DEAD or RAPED! THANK YOU GOD FOR SAVING ME!!
My Yucatan pork chop recipe:
1” thick chop, squeeze lime juice on this, dust with cayenne, rub with Bufalo Brand chipotle sauce, zest the lime on it and cook on grill or in pan.
Well of course he cooked up some pork chops.

What is he, some kind of squatter? Does he

Omgosh. Just reading what little there was of the incident, I’m glad he’s facing charges.
I’m going to assume the burglar was naked in the shower and at that point would have been no threat at all.
Matter of fact, all the owner of the residence would have had to do (while keeping the gun on the guy in the shower)was to throw stuff into the shower to keep the guy in the shower off guard. I’d have done that after calling 911 of course and leaving the phone off the hook.
I’m all for protecting ones life. This doesn’t sound like a good shooting though....

I think it’s just really mind blowing to a lot of folks that someone would be showing and cooking while robbing a place.
It’s almost certain the resident of the apartment will *never* let anyone stay in is laundry-room, again. That was his stupidity coming out to play in the street!
