You are leaving out that she also desires to abandon her daughter. Life comes with responsibilities. She needs to find work in Saudi Arabia, and be as good a mother as she can. Not try to Skye off to America to find a new husband.

She is not under US jurisdiction although she is not the man’s property anymore after divorce took place. A male relative might travel there to accompany her. There is no legal way to bring a child out though.
