Wrong. In Europe, far right is far left. Always confused and conflated with conservative vs. Liberal. Snipes needs some fact checking themselves - not a credible, unbiased factchecker.
DOn’t forget the Kennedy, Rockefeller, Carnegie, Ford...Families, The Democrat Party, and WALL Street ALL Fully supported Adolf Hitler until he Invaded Mother Russia.

Were the Nazi’s socialists? Of course they were. Proven by their actions as well as their name (National Socialists)
Never the less the people were socialist, Hitler was a despot using what ever worked to bring him power.
Killing rich Jews and giving what they had to the poor socialists ovviously worked worked well.
The irony here is that Hitler and his Party were pretty much a Totalitarian form of Government using Socialism as a means just as Stalin was a Totalitarian using Communism as means for power.
The real irony though was that Hitler hated Stalin and the Communists and invaded to destroy them. Yet both committed such atrocities during the war that it hard to figure out who was worse.
I just recently finished reading Sir Max Hastings book “Armageddon”. on the last year of the war in Europe and it was one atrocity after another by both Germany and Russia but the brutality of Stalin may have been much worse than Hitler in some ways.

Prior to the Ribbentrop-Molotov treaty, Stalin saw what Hitler was doing in Germany and was an unapologetic admirer of how Hitler’s authoritarianism could move a nation.
And for the record, the Germans surrendered to National Socialism after Weimar. The Soviets (and Marx) took the path of International Socialism. Therein lies the difference.
If it believes the State is all and wants limitless power to govern every aspect of life it’s darn sure closer to socialism than the people who founded the United States.
The physical and archival evidence is OVERWHELMING that the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei- the NSDAP— The National Socialist German Worker’s Party... was Socialist. Early “May Day” medallions for the Nazis had— a Hammer & Sickle AND the Pagan Swastika..Together with Runic Pagan “god” masks on them and the date, each year. These were LEFT and in true fashion— Socialism is Theft, by Force. Steal the money and the wealth and re-distribute. Obmaumao is a Left Socialist internationalist— in short, a Communist (Mr. Redistribution, his own sef).
As for the the name (shortened acronym was named “Nazi” by a Berlin opposition newspaper at the time, and much earlier in WWI, the Austro-Hungarian army soldiers were called Nazis, to ping off a derogatory Austrian name for dumba@@— Ignatz (a common peasant name). Socialists of the Social Democrat Party- still in power today, btw— were shortened to Sotzi’s in common usage. So, National Socialists became... Nazis. That’s the name.
Now, the ideology: From it’s inception by the first Fueher Anton Drexler, the politics of the Nazis was always Leftist, and markedly Socialist— incorporating German, Austrian, and Bohemian proponents of anti-capitalist, nationalist-imperialist, anti-Semitic with a call to “breaking the shackles of finance capital” added in. The Nazis were LEFT of Center, and FAR to the Right of the Communists in Weimar Germany, who outnumbered them and threatened Labor uprising and destruction of German Industry. So, the Krupps and Thyssens and heavy industry— courted the Nazis to manage union communist shutdowns, and to raise their orders for military machinery and arms— for revenge on the French at Versailles Treaty. Simple as that.
Like today— Big Banks, Big Industry, and Big Governmen ALL LOVE SOCIALISM because of the control it enables for this oligarchy over even the most creative startup business owners who are in no way... freaking Socialists! Corporate US loves socialism, and loves the Uniparty that enables them.
In the USSR, the terms national socialist and Nazi were said to have been forbidden after 1932, presumably to avoid any taint to the good word Socialist, found in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (now THAT is some gobbledygook wording— some freaking Republics, huh?). Soviet literature constantlyrefers to Nazis as... fascists. Mussolini was a Fascist... the Nazis were Socialists... well to the right of the Socialists who were Communists (in Germany and worldwide).
They were progressives. Progressivism in 1920 was all about racial purity and eugenics.

Meanwhile the commies continue to espouse virtually the SAME political ideology (anti-free market economy— aka anti-”capitalist”, capital being a word coined by Marx, who stole it from Hegel)— as the Nazis.
Today- in the US they are the “Anti-FA”.... Communists instruct their members to call all Nazis Fascists to seal the notion they are Far Right. Been that way over 100 years.
The short answer is yes the Nazis were socialists.

The unifying concept— “sharia” loans (no interest) and anti-jewish (note, stop using the phrase anti-Semite. The Arabs are Semites, and there are of course Arab Jews in heritage. Call it what it is— and at the same time damned odd— all serving the “anti-capitalist” nature of Socialist re-distribution of personal wealth in the form of forced taxation and totalitarian government.

Left wing, right wing. It makes little difference. What can be agreed upon is that Nazi Germany, like Socialist States, the country’s infrastructure and the people were controlled by the government. Personal freedoms are limited by the state.

This right here is absolutely correct. The Nazis really had it in for the Commies because the Commies were offering the people the same kinda thing, and they had to eliminate the competition first.
