FULL TITLE: Police release audio of 911 prank call by six-year-old boy claiming a gunman had killed five people and was holding the principal hostage triggering panic at his elementary school
Audio of the 911 prank call by a six-year-old boy claiming that a school shooter had killed five and taken the principal hostage has been released.
Police in Conway, Arkansas rushed to Marguerite Vann Elementary after receiving the call at about 5.33pm on Monday, from a 'young caller' saying someone was trying to 'shoot up the school,' the Conway Police Department said.
The boy said that five people had been shot, and that the principal was in the office with the shooter, but dispatchers became suspicious when the details of his story kept constantly changing.

Yeah. Police became suspicious with the little kid said the shooters had bleach, a noose, and were yelling “This is MAGA Country.”
Where would a 5 year old get the idea to do this? Who coached him?
Fake emergency calls aren’t illegal now. At least in Chicago, but the precedence has been set. You should be able to call 911 just to get the time of day.

This reminds me of the little boy who called 911 to say that a foreign government had attacked the white house and was holding the president hostage. In response they appointed a special counsel and 3 years later they still haven’t been able to trace the call.

They could have gotten the idea from an active shooter drill at school. We homeschool our kids, but our kindergartener goes to the local elementary school for speech therapy. Last year during her half hour session there was an active shooter drill. She, along with her speech therapist and a couple other preschool speech students hid behind a bookshelf in the library, lights turned off and they practiced being absolutely silent.
I was a bit disturbed when I picked her up. Sad that it’s necessary.
