The Illegal Invasion - A Dark Equation
4/6/19 | a little elbow grease

Just a thought from my wife’s best friend who keeps bringing this up.

The woman donated to and voted for President Trump. She sees the ridiculous problem with these hordes of unyielding illegal immigrants, and she simply asks:

_____

What kind of response would President Trump and his administration receive from the public, the foul Democrats, and all others if they suggested something like the FDR solution to his perceived “problem”?

Should the President ever consider placing these “invaders” in camps similar to the ones of World War II?

I suppose we all know the response, but is the concept a viable idea?

________

Japanese camps have been described like this in a similar way.

1. “The internment of Japanese Americans in the United States during World War II was the forced relocation and incarceration in concentration camps in the western interior of the country of between 110,000 and 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry, most of whom lived on the Pacific coast.”

2. “Japanese Internment Camps …….. during World War II more than 127,000 Japanese-American citizens were imprisoned at internment camps in the United States. Their only crime was that they had Japanese ancestry and they were suspected of being loyal to their homeland of Japan.

Wouldn’t work. The Japanese were and are proud people with a work ethic. They loathed being cooped up and idle. Whereas, the streams of millions of illegals from the south would overwhelm any efforts at incarceration and containment. Where to put them all? Secondly, they would enjoy sitting on their @$$es and being fed, and unbroken siesta. Their motto: “Eess nawh my jawb, meng!” JMHO.

___________

The first internment camp in operation was Manzanar, located in southern California. Between 1942 and 1945, a total of 10 camps were opened, holding approximately 120,000 Japanese Americans for varying periods of time in California, Arizona, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, and Arkansas.

There were also some in Canada.

Makes no sense to me. The president’s job #1 is to protect the border. No need to ask permission. WTF?

IMO it the only option left if the asylum laws aren't changed. Build camps and incarcerate, process and deport. We would only have to do this a short time and world would get out.

Yes indeed.

My wife and I have been watching a seven part documentary, "The War". It's about WWII, and it's excellent.

Japanese Americans who participated were amazing fighters for this country.

As one of the last counties in California which still cooperates with ICE including hosting some of the most dangerous illegals as they count out their days before being deported as well as a former host to one of the internment camps which held those of Japanese ancestry, I have to say that while I understand where your thoughts are on this, it also is not a viable solution.

You're close there, though. A concentration of housing, medical care, education, legal access as well as the judicial conclusion of the case into one center would provide a solution which could process tens of thousands of cases each year. Repeat it in multiple centers across the country (with the illegal going to the nearest center to where they were residing) would be the most compassionate.

And doing so on military installations would provide the least complications.

Call it the Repatriot Act. Education opportunities could include language classes for the country they're being returned to. And of course, any crimes committed in such a center would be federal by nature of their location.

Rendition the hordes. There has to be an island in the south pacific where the radiation levels have diminished enough to where they won’t get sick.

From the border to the airport. Commandeer greyhound buses.

How could we ever put 28-33 million invaders in internment camps? The answer is, we can't. That is 10% of the population.

Instead, we take their mug shots, fingerprints, and DNA samples and expel them to their native countries. No US visa or Green Card allowed in the future for those caught and expelled, ever. No asylum, ever. If, however, they turn themselves in first, it is possible they can get a temporary visa after 5 years. No welfare of any kind, ever.

They have 90 days to turn themselves in for processing and expulsion. If they show up again, they do prison time (increasing with subsequent offenses) and expelled again. DACA "kids" are free to leave with their parents (same rules). Same for anchor babies. Eliminate anchor baby scam, visa lottery scam, and other immigration scams.

You do it for the new ones. Once the word gets out the invasion will stop.

No camps - except maybe as very temporary rest stations on their way home to Honduras and Arabia - the idea is their removal, not providing them any more free room and board

Should the President ever consider placing these “invaders” in camps similar to the ones of World War II?

Brainstorming among friends is one thing, but it is remarkable that the issue at the national level is even in doubt.

The answer, of course, is "Only upon finding a basis for granting asylum, otherwise for no longer than transportation can be arranged for return to the government of the most recent country they visited.

Interned WWII Japanese were relocated for two reasons: their safety and as a matter of national security. Today's "invaders" in additional to posing a national security threat are clearly in violation of the law. We put even those suspected of such violations in jail.

LOL ........ the "free room and board" is only for a very short time until they are bused back to wherever they came. The cost of each bus ticket will be abstracted from the country from where they are returned.

;-)

No need to build camps.

We have numerous federal and state prisons which are completely empty after contracting out their services.

Many are brand new.

Just open them up and let them live there.

Be gracious and afford them the water, sewer and heating, perhaps elec power and natgas.
