There may be a bit of rivalry as would be expected from different organizations playing similar roles, but I think it’s clear now, they’re like an Italian Family - they’re allowed to have squabbles and arguments among themselves, but the moment an outsider [Trump] tries to tell them how to do things, they unify together and fight back with every means they have.
ATF used to be the BOTTOM-OF-THE-BARREL law enforcement from the 70s to 2000s. Now it seems, the corrupt, malfeasant, liars, and psychopaths don’t get reassigned to ATF, they just stay at their department.
Simple.
They are all Democrats.
None of these organizations trust each other. I have worked in the past with all three. The Secret Service have a “joke” saying, “If the balloon goes up first shoot the closest FBI agent and then get on with your job.”
The FBI agents, not the bomb techs, all KNOW they are in charge and can push people around, demand anything they want including demands for work and equipment without paying for it and they will threaten an entire organization if they don’t get exactly what they want right NOW!
The special agents investigators are trained to be serious a$$holes.
Special Agent Bomb Techs are serious about their jobs. Doing and learning about their job, developing their skills and disarming weapons. They are real heros doing an extremely dangerous job.
The management of all these organizations should probably be in jail and all should be replaced with someone who wants to do the job, not just spend time looking for a better one.

Let’s put it this way...none of them are MI6, Mossad, GCHQ, BND etc. Not even close.
When I was in the “business” I knew a guy who had a perfect Texas drawal and perfect English. Was a 100% German BND “agent”.
I think "baboons" is a more appropriate term for our supposed intelligence agencies. Your first post was much more correct and humorous.
