He did not. He nationalized them
“He did not. He nationalized them”
Just like every other “People’s Republic.”
Liberals don’t learn from history, they change it to suit their agenda. Hence Hitler was not a socialist, he was a capitalist. None of the National Socialists were socialists, they were nationalists.
That’s why it’s important to contend with liberals, in order to learn their arguments.
To refute them.
The Nazis tried to woo union votes by showing support for the union causes, particularly the Transit workers who were on strike. The unions, however, were firmly in the corner of the communists and voted accordingly.
When Hitler came to power, his ‘Enabling Act’ allowed him to stifle strikes and bend the unions to his will.
Once elections were abolished, he didn’t need any groups ‘support’, only ‘submission.
The relationship between communism and unions has always been strong. As Lenin said, ‘Unions are the transmission belt between communism and the masses.’
In a single sentence you have captured what others have taken a book to describe. Well done!
I've got news for you...almost everyone (but the few truly honest people in the world) do that.
Even if you don't intend to do it, you unconscious mind helps out without your conscious approval.
Even our memories play tricks on us if we're not on our toes.;-)
Much truth to your post.
It’s a matter of degrees. I would admit that capitalism has its flaws and the pursuit of money and power has done its share of harm through history. But tell a socialist about all the harm the Soviet Union has done and they’ll say “But they weren’t true socialists”. Denial.
I am not complaining about capitalism or disputing that socialists lie.
I am simply saying we all muddle and rearrange the past (i.e., our memories of it) to support our current opinions.
I agree, but as I said, it’s a matter of degrees. A tendency to overlook unpleasant historical facts is not as bad as blatantly lying about history. Too often you see liberals doing the latter.
True. History and reality are much more supportive (perhaps absolutely so) of capitalists/free marketeers than they are socialists/communists.
Hitler closed the independent labor unions' offices, took their money, and arrested their leaders, and that's not crushing them?
Use your head and don't believe all the stupid garbage you find on the Internet.
JFK gets an idea...................................
Hitler was more pragmatic than other Nazis, for example, Ernst Rohm wanted to Nationalize all German industry and basically eliminate the German Business Class.
Hitler knew better, because he needed the Industrialists on his side, if he was to build up his war machine. That was one of the main reasons for “The Night of the Long Knives”, in order to placate the industrialists.
However, once the war was won, it’s very likely that the German Industrialists would face the same fate as the Jews, because they were not part of the Nazis’ long-term vision.
Hitler was a dictator, a dictator
can not be a capitalist, socialism is where most dictators are bred which is proved by history.
History also shows that socialist governments quickly devolve into fascism and tyranny. It’s easy to see why if you can think rationally, which liberals seem to have a problem doing. Socialist governments by nature have a lot of power, and power corrupts. It’s a proven rule that they always ignore.
“However, once the war was won, its very likely that the German Industrialists would face the same fate as the Jews, because they were not part of the Nazis long-term vision.”
Most excellent! And that sums up the fate of today’s democrat voters, once they have no purpose they become part of the problem.
There is always Capitalism, in some form.
The question is, how is the Capital controlled.
