See my post 73 for a link to more, uh, “precise” information.
Is this the same Australia that had an issue with an out of control population of wild rabbits?
After being shot three or four times with a BB gun, stray cats learn to stay out of your yard
BB guns are illegal in Spain.
Too bad Chopper Read wasn’t around...he’d know how to handle the situation.
There is a 20 to 25 mile ring around every major metropolitan area I call the “unwanted cat” drop off zone.
The Aussies have another invasive species, rabbits are a huge problem there too. Saw a couple videos from the 50’s showing rounding them up in a fence and smashing them about with a cricket bat.
Hmmmm... I wonder if that would work on lawyers in DC..???
IF they are coming to your porch, they might have learned they can get fed there.
My grandfather went to Australia several times and when asked at customs if he had a criminal record, he asked Is that still a requirement?. :-)
Excellent!
"Never convicted."
Anything is possible.
Do not cast your pearls before swine, in its original Biblical context, is a warning against evangelizing certain kinds of hardened unbelievers.
Do you understand the meaning of the word 'relevant' ?
I'm not claiming that the original Biblical context is wrong. I'm saying that the concept can be applied to other situations, like this one.
MANY concepts in the Bible can be used for related situations. Many of the stories in the Bible are DESIGNED to be used throughout the ages as RELEVANT to other situations besides the 'story' given (which were sometimes fictional, and that's why they are called PARABLES).
After all, not many people today have to worry about whether or not the Camel can get through the eye of the needle, but the CONCEPT can still be used today to related incidents and situations. Do you not agree ?
I need to remember to use that!
My statement was really simple - anybody attempting to shoot one of my cats on my property will receive fire in return. Period. Kindly note I said ‘On My Property’. There’s a good bit of it and our two don’t leave it.
