Shortly before his death, Dymond sent Callaghan a text saying: "I can’t live without you. I just wanted to come and see you. I just wanted to say sorry before I go. My life is not worth living without you."

Callaghan revealed that Dymond had been diagnosed with depression in February but obtained a doctor’s note in order to take part in the show, insisting he would prove to her he had remained faithful.

Dymond had only recently discovered he was a grandfather after reconnecting with his son shortly before appearing on the show. He had yet to meet his grandchild.

Dymond’s landlady, identified only as Shelley, told the Daily Mail she informed ITV about his death after calling a number she found on his phone.

The 55-year-old landlady claimed Dymond had been suicidal after failing the lie-detector test.

“He was traumatized,” she said. “Steve said it got quite nasty on the show. Four days later he was dead. I really believe it was the show that tipped him over the edge."

“Talk show”? You mean those idiotic time wasters where sewage, posing as humans, reveals to the world how sick, perverted, lying, self-loathing they are? You mean a “reality” show where the slobs are encouraged to show their hate and anger for each other? A show in which the audience loves seeing people being rotten to each other?

This is just my opinion, but this guy had NO INTENTION of taking his own life.

From the article:

"Shortly before his death, Dymond sent Callaghan a text saying: "I can’t live without you. I just wanted to come and see you. I just wanted to say sorry before I go. My life is not worth living without you."

When a person really intends on committing suicide, they don't tell anyone what they're going to do because they don't want to be found and rescued before they go through with it.

What he did is classic manipulation: phone/email/text that you're going to kill yourself and leave enough time to get rescued, and hope that the person who dumped you will feel sorry for you and take you back and stay with you out of guilt.

Unfortunately, sometimes they get the timing wrong with the amount of drugs they've taken, which is probably what happened here.

Had a distant family member get on one of these "Judge" shows to make his case (will provide no details, although the "show" gave a lot of distorted details, but all his personal information). It was sliced and diced to make him look like a monster, and the end result was that he had to change his business and start taking personal safety precautions due to death threats from moonbat liberals that got stirred up by the "show".

the terms of being on the show provided settlement for his "case", but in the aftermath he states it was not worth it...

I guess this is our last goodbye
And you don’t care, so I won’t cry
And you’ll be sorry when I’m dead
When all this guilt will be on your head
I guess you’d call it suicide
But I’m too full, to swallow my pride

I can’t, I can’t, I can’t stand losing,
I can’t, I can’t, I can’t stand losing,
I can’t, I can’t, I can’t stand losing,
I can’t, I can’t, I can’t stand losing,
I can’t, I can’t, I can’t stand losing,
I can’t, I can’t, I can’t stand losing,
I can’t, I can’t, I can’t stand losing,
I can’t, I can’t, I can’t stand losing,
I can’t, I can’t, I can’t stand losing.
I can’t, I can’t, I can’t stand losing,
I can’t, I can’t, I can’t stand losing,
I can’t, I can’t, I can’t stand losing,
I can’t, I can’t, I can’t, I can’t stand losing you

Depending on that day’s subject, I often watch Dr Phil.
It would be interesting to know if his remedies ever work,
but I’ve never seen a follow-up.

That’s one of the things I like about Chef Ramsey’s ‘Hell’s Kitchen.’ They give a three-month follow-up. Sometimes it is that the owners went right back to their old menus and old ways and bitching employees. I imagine most of Dr Phil’s efforts end in something similar.

Badfinger

No, I can’t forget this evening
Or your face as you were leaving
But I guess that’s just the way the story goes
You always smile but in your eyes your sorrow shows
Yes, it shows

No, I can’t forget tomorrow
When I think of all my sorrows
When I had you there but then I let you go
And now it’s only fair that I should let you know
What you should know

I can’t live, if living is without you
I can’t live, I can’t give any more
Can’t live, if living is without you
I can’t give, I can’t give any more

Well, I can’t forget this evening
Or your face as you were leaving
But I guess that’s just the way the story goes
You always smile but in your eyes your sorrow shows
Yes, it shows

Can’t live, if living is without you
I can’t live, I can’t give anymore
I can’t live, if living is without you
I can’t live, I can’t give anymore
(Living is without you)

Pete Ham and Tom Evans.

Rock ’n’ Roll Suicide

David Bowie

Time takes a cigarette, puts it in your mouth
You pull on your finger, then another finger, then your cigarette
The wall-to-wall is calling, it lingers, then you forget
Ohh how how how, you’re a rock ‘n’ roll suicide

You’re too old to lose it, too young to choose it
And the clocks waits so patiently on your song
You walk past a cafe but you don’t eat when you’ve lived too long
Oh, no, no, no, you’re a rock ‘n’ roll suicide
