With fans still processing the epic Game of Thrones finale that aired on HBO Sunday night, Emilia Clarke has shed some light on the epic victory speech she gave.

The 32 year old actress revealed in a new interview with Variety, Clarke revealed that she actually studied dictators like Adolph Hitler.

Nothing about her delivery of the speech suggested Hitler, who was usually almost hysterical in his speeches. However, the scene was definitely set to look like a Nuremburg Nazi rally.

We saw the Dothraki literally get wiped out to-a-man (& horse) at the Battle of Winterfell. We later saw the survivors charge into the melee of Kings Landing against armored heavy infantry operating in the close confines of the alleys of a major city, so what few she had after Winterfell should definitely be casualties after KL. Then THE SPEECH... how many thousands of Dothraki horseman did you see? Where did they come from? What a joke. Same goes for the Unsullied. There shouldn’t have been more than a couple of hundred left for duty and we saw tens of thousands of them.

While HBO’s D&D were not bound by anything recognized as acceptable military strategy or tactics they seemed to think that soldiers could not only survive but reproduce like ameobas.

The last season was definitely phoned in. It was like watching one of those movies in which the studio insisted a movie end a certain way. These are usually referred to as "tacked on endings". The 8th season of GOT seemed like a hurriedly tacked on ending. Nothing was well thought out, coffee cups and water bottles were left on set, Daenerys' forces multiplied faster than the Night King's, etc. D&D did a great job when they had source material to work with. They weren't so good at winging it on their own.

I even wonder now about the scene in which Daenerys appeared with Grey Worm and a pitiful small host at King's Landing for Missandei's execution. Did she really have such a small force, or were they merely a small retinue? I wonder if her entire mass-reproducing army was meant to be there, and they just didn't take the time to CGI them in place out of sheer slovenliness?
