Go to any pond in Minnesota or say LEECH Lake if you want leeches. No need to import them. What you can catch with them. Here is a 49" one from Leech lake in Minnesota.

From what I’ve read, the medical leeches have to be a specific species. I don’t know why.
But if they are that useful, and expensive, you would think that somebody would ‘farm’ them ...............
