Only an absolute fool would want a government that is swift to pass out punishments and laws. Our Founders knew better.
Only a fool thinks 16 months is a rush to judgement. Average time from crime to conviction to hanging in the framers day was probably 1.5 minutes (purposeful exaggeration). Show me a scintilla of evidence that the framers would approve 16 months of dithering. Justice delayed is justice denied.
