Tired of Losing at Grand Slams, 48 Men's Tennis Players to Identify as Women (SATIRE)
Vanity | June 10, 2019

Following the combined 53rd Grand Slam victory by the "Big Three" at the French Open, 48 Men's Tennis Players have declared they identify as women. The players include Dominic Thiem, Alexander Zverev, John Isner, Kevin Anderson, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Kei Nishikori.

Since 2003 Wimbledon, Roger Federer (20 Grand Slams), Rafael Nadal (18), and Novak Djokovic (15) have dominated the sport. Many of the top men's players have decided their only chance of winning is by competing as women.

"I have tried everything, but they are unbeatable" said Thiem. "Therefore, I now identify as a woman."

Meanwhile John Isner said, "I look forward to playing against Serena Williams."

When asked if this is cheating, Tsitsipas said. "What are you transphobic? How dare you question my identity."

Meanwhile, several women's players are up in arms over the idea of having to compete against these new women.

"What? How am I supposed to compete against these guys? I'm still trying to beat Margaret Court's record!" said Serena Williams.

Added Simona Halep, "John Isner is like 6'9''. That is too tall for a woman. I can't play against him!"

"There is no way these are women. They are just sore losers who can't win a Grand Slam," said Naomi Osaka.

Meanwhile, several feminists have come out in favor of the new women. "Trans women are women. Trans women are women. Trans women are women. Trans women tennis players are women's tennis players," said Dr. Julia Shaw.

The WTA Tour will make it's ruling one week before Wimbledon. Protests and counter protests are expected at next week's grass court tournaments.

Somehow this doesn't sound too far fetched anymore.

“Somehow this doesn’t sound too far fetched anymore.”

This is not far fetched at all. I just wish a nominal male player who would dominate women easily would make this move. Just to watch the UBER liberals in the world of sport twist themselves in knots over it.

Nadal has always looked, to me, like he could swing from both sides of the plate. Baby face, obsessed with body image...you know..

I look forward to the day when a well known Diva like Serena Williams is soundly beaten in a tournament by a Trans-Woman.
I predict, she won’t handle the loss well and will speak her mind, saying all the ‘forbidden’ things. She will refuse to be a nice girl and bow to PC. Serena may have retired before that moment comes, but it’s still possible.

The 200 ranked male would crush the top female player. I would really like to see someone do this. And he could come out as a lesbian as well, so he could keep his girlfriend. He’d make a lot of money with very little effort.

Rafa Nadal? Are you kidding me, he is an all male Spaniard, who plays tennis at a physical level no other man has ever played. He will be married to his long time girlfriend of fourteen years this summer.

Serena has already admitted that she could not beat a middle aged man who was a top player. Someone proposed a match and she quite properly said that she would not win.

No. Nadal has been dating his fiancee for fourteen years and getting married soon. However a lot of the female players definitely serve for the other side....

N ot even slightly far fetched. I watched about 2 minutes of Women’s Olympic diving team tryouts recently. Ugliest clunkiest. “woman” with manly muscles went dive bombing into the water, clearly a male. Didn’t do well, fortunately, but to have made it that far is scary.

This will, in fact, be the end of women’s sports. I don’t understand how any woman can be in favor of trannies in sports.

Veto! (the girl)

Great post, very funny!

And operating on a couple levels that folks here aren’t necessarily getting...

Yes, Nadal can be beat.

Thiem was winded from that ludicrous match w/ Djokovic — he played three straight days and gamely put up with a cry baby opponent. Thiem has the goods and has and can beat Nadal, hopefully next year. I hope his new coach, Massu, focuses on getting past lapses during long matches (Thiem and Wawrinka have a tendency to lose focus at times and let the opponent back in.) A similar situation was w/ Anderson’s loss to Nadal at the US Open was similar: he had a tough, emotional semi and couldn’t carry it into the final.

Biggest thing for Thiem is to carry wins over from one set to the next. When Wawrinka has won his Majors he kept that focus throughout— maybe Thiem, along w/ Tsitsipas, will benefit from the Warwrinka tat: “Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better.”

As for women competing with men, we’ve been through that here on FR: http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3564368/posts

Thanks for this post, great fun!

I forget the couple (might have been Chris Evert and John Lloyd), but she was one of the top female players and he was ranked around 150 among men. She said when they played together he had to hold way back to not crush her.

If she never played men, How would they know where she ranked?

I actually liked watching CEL when she played. I couldn't learn from Conner or McEnroe - they did things few humans could. But Chris Everett had great form.
