Killing your customers is not a good business model.................
I have no interest in going to these resort islands and locations anymore. I think the liquor is tainted and there are no health regulations or codes to enforce craftsmanship and a safe product from these home grown distillers. I’ve read also of many rapes that go unmentioned. No Thanks....tons of places to go to here in the states with laws that protect you.
At the root of the matter is third-world politics.
One has to ask who benefits if the DR’s tourism economy were to go in the tank?

Vacation deals to die for

We have been to the Bahia Principe in Punta Cana and it was wonderful. They have an adult only section where everything from the food to the liquor is first quality. We would go back without hesitation. Also went to a Bahia Principe in Cancun that was just as nice so we were really excited to find out that there were Bahia Principes in Tenerife. We booked it for our first vacation in Spain. It was horrible, low grade dog food and nasty rooms. A letdown to say the least.
Travel there should be suspended.
Its not such a good deal if you end up in the hospital.
22 years ago I went to all inclusive resort in Playa Del Carman, Mexico. It was a package deal including roundtrip air from Boston. To this day I still refer to it as the vacation from H#LL. The flights were delayed in both directions because it was a low budget charter airline. The hotel was brand new. Even the people cooking your meals. The could not make toast correctly. I got sick from the lady sitting behind me on the flight down. I spent one day in the room with a fever. I got over that and then got Montezuma’s Revenge. The flight back was delayed for 5 hours. Our limo picking us up at the airport left. They had to send another. I will NEVER buy a “vacation deal” again.
There are plenty of fun places to go in the USA without worrying about dying as a result. Exceptions...the open sewer cities like San Francisco, LA and Seattle where you are likely to contract diseases like you would have in medieval times, Chicago and Baltimore where shootings are rampant, New York City for a host of reasons and any areas carried by Hillary in 2016. Check out places in flyover country especially in the smaller cities and towns. My wife and I just had a delightful weekend in La Crosse, WI. For families I’d recommend a trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota.
