I bought a used copy of Paul Johnson’s History of Art a few months ago but have not even cracked it open yet. Anyone here read it?

Sorry for not replying sooner.
I trust anything Paul Johnson has written. I think I got learned out of Janson’s survey, which shouldn’t be too hard to find.

The only thing about Johnson is that he runs a little dry at times in other books he’s written.

I’ll scratch around around and see if something comes up.
