Sad. Alcohol?

Twenty five years of working in a big city ER confirmed the wisdom of my mother's constant reminder "nothing good ever happens at one in the morning".

How awful. That incredible life ahead of him suddenly changed for all time.

He was in a big truck, Ford F-250, which should have protected him but a vehicle cut him off, causing him to roll. This is what I read online. God heal, protect, and bless him. He is only 22, a baby.

It can't protect you if your arm is out the window, and it is summer. Very sad.

My father in law was just in a huge accident in March. 85 year old blew the county road stop sign at 50. FIL was in his F-350 4x4, also doing 50. He hit the old timer broadside which launched his truck into the air and did 2 and a half end overs and landed upside down. He crawled out the back window. Old timer was DOA.

required his left arm to be amputated at the scene

Words fail me to think of how horrific that must have been.

Likely the paramedics did not know who he was, nor did they care. They were saving a life and they did. Good for them.

Really a tough break for Mr. Norton. Very sad.

I hope he did not lose his whole arm and he has the fortitude and ability to continue on despite his injury.

His determination to stop feeling sorry for himself the succeed despite his injuries will show his true makeup.
