It is way, way, way TOO PREMATURE to label Barr as corrupt. We don’t know all the cards and hands Barr is playing now and may play in the future. There may well be potential criminal prosecutions for which he wants to conserve evidence for use down the road.

However, the DOJ Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division is Jody Hunt. That name might be familiar to you because Jody Hunt was Jeff Sessions former chief-of-staff.
Asst. AG Jody Hunt most certainly knows his office is fighting to keep the FBI descriptions of the Comey memos hidden from the public.
But the FISA scandal has gotten out and somebody has to be sacrificed - I'm sure there are vicious arguments going on behind the scenes about whose "boy" has to get the axe.
They got by with the Kenyanesian Usurpation, FISA is small potatoes.

I think you’re theory is spot on, however Trump will be indicted the minute he leaves office by that New York D.A. So any deal made by Trump wont save him from political prosecution after he leaves office.

I was a little upset after reading the article. One of the greatest political hit jobs in the history of this country is being conducted against our president in an attempt to cover-up one of the most corrupt pols and political parties ever.

This just more of Sundance’s typical bullshit. If Barr wants the Comey memo kept quiet he had a damn good reason for it and while it may come as a shock to the Publix Produce Manager, not everything in the DoJ is going to be explained to him.
