Said Bill Barr to Jerry Nadler

Today was a little strange because Pastor preacherd from Acts 19

The story line is the silversmiths of Ephesus that were having their business interupted because Paul Preached Christ and not the goddess Diana which was the city goddess ... the politically correct "god" if you will.

" "And the same time there arose no small stir about that way."

Demetrius was a leader amongst the craftsmen and called them all together to discuss this trouble in the city and cautioned that:

"So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth."

" And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians."

There were riots and protests and

"Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused: and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together."

Well, it appears I'm rambling but, God had me reminiscing about the Mueller report and Bill Barr's conclusive statement because it TOO caused quite a stir among the false god worshippers and they too called committee meetings and discused and discussed and questioned and discussed and ....... never got anywhere

yet

But they're not done

For like the ancient Ephesians

"And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians. And the whole city was filled with confusion ... "

The democrats still demand President Trump be impeached, imprisoned, removed, exposed, arrested ...______________ (fill in the blank)

And all of THIS reminded me of Pontius Pilate, after questioning Jesus publically announcing;

"I find no fault in this man"

It was right around this time Pastor gave an altar call and closed the service and I decided I would post my thoughts

I can't go to church anymore without hearing the politics of the day.

I can’t go to church anymore without hearing the politics of the day.@@@@@

Does not Ecclisiastes tell us “there is nothing new under the sun”?

Human nature apart from the Holy Spirit of God is only able to live making the same mistakes over and over again!

Mueller might be preparing to publicly ‘wash his hands’ in front of the Democrats . . but I doubt we’ll hear ‘I find no fault in this man.’

Christianity has been replaced by pseudo Christianity. Feel good, feel nice to every (except those haters who voted for Trump). Trumpers should be driven out of town, driven out of restaurants, pelted with hard objects, no First Amendment rights for them.

I hope that President Trump will win the 2020 election. What would be the reaction of the antiTrumpers?

We are living in Biblical times.The forces of discontent, hatred, and evil are hard upon us. We must not flinch from calling out the worshipers of chaos.
We are fortunate that the evildoers among us are witless and arrogant. They understand nothing and are driven by their lust for power. Their stupidity is their downfall. They believe themselves entitled. They are not. they have achieved authority based on the fantasy of their own superiority.
Only by being driven into the darkness of despair will they have any hope of redemption. They must be forced to give up their illusions as nothing more than smoke from their drug of choice.

The politics of the day sometimes echo the politics of the past.

[We are living in Biblical times]

That’s for certain. The Devil is stoking chaos.

The Democrats really (especially) sold out to it under Barack.

Ours does not do that. We might go into politics in Sunday School on occasion if the scripture merits it, but not from the pulpit.

Referring to MY post ...

Pastor does not preach politics, I read it and interpret politics in the sermon.

That was the point of my posting this thread.

Hebrews 4;12 says;

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Leave these apostate “lukewarm” churches who push entertainment rather than Bible teaching. But keep taking in the Word daily by finding good teachers on the internet.
