As the battle over President Trump’s federal taxes intensifies in Washington, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo of New York signed a bill on Monday to allow congressional committees to access the president’s state tax returns. The bill requires state tax officials to release the president’s state returns for any “specified and legitimate legislative purpose” on the request of the chair of one of three congressional committees: the House Ways and Means Committee, the Senate Finance Committee and the Joint Committee on Taxation.

The sole reason Epstein has been re-arrested on the same charges a second time (by corrupt NY prosecutors and judicial system) is to make yet another attempt to go after Trump and tie him into Epstein’s sex ring. The Dem long knives are out and they will stop at nothing, and I mean nothing. The NY corrupt judicial system is the one remaining avenue to go after Trump, as with Attorney General Bob Barr now at the helm of the Fed Judiciary, this precludes further good use of the deep swamp (CIA/FBI/State Dept. etc.). They can no longer effectively go after Trump especially as Barr is now hot on their deep swampy ever so corrupt trail.
So the venue to persecute and prosecute Trump now switches more to NY. They already are after Trump’s tax returns, and continue to pursue the Stormy Daniels case. They will continue to persecute and prosecute Paul Manafort. Now add the Epstein angle.
The price this time around for Epstein to obtain his freedom will be to rat out Trump by, as Alan Horowitz often says, “composing” lies about Trump’s alleged and concocted connection to Epstein’s sex ring. Epstein will be forced (if he caves to the intimidation) to lie about Trump as these corrupt prosecutors will squeeze Epstein until he sings the song they want to hear. He is their new Manafort. These NY lib Dems will stop at nothing in their quest to bring Trump down.
That is why it is so very important that Barr act fast and strike first before Nadler/Swift/crooked House Dems can impeach Trump or further spread their malicious “Russia” lies, along with their willing accomplices, the majorityMSM. It’s a race now to the finish line. It’s Trump vs. the Deep State Swamp, as the attempted coup continues on unabated. The left is motivated by deep and pathological hatred of all things Trump and in a case of guilt by association, us deplorables too. Our country’s future depends on Trump, his base (that’s unredeemable us) and some congressional true patriots plus the likes of Rush/Hannity/Levin/Carlson and other media conservatives, winning this war.
It will never survive appeals in the judiciary branch. It is a classic bill of attainder (whether in spirit or letter), which the Constitution expressly prohibits.
How is this even legal? I didn’t think a government was allowed to pass a law just for one particular individual. This is definitely an abuse of power. Sounds like a Constitutional challenge is in order.

If not they’ll release the returns as soon as the ink is dry and then not contest the court.
We live in clown world where laws are now meaningless.
No State shall ... pass any ... ex post facto Law.So this can only apply to returns not already submitted.

But what if they just do it anyway? The RATS are a lawless bunch, and they will do it if they believe that they can get away with it, or even if they can’t!
NY fascist in action. Now anyone can have there tax return reviewed if they say anything against a politician.
This violates so many laws it is unbelievable anyone would actually put their name on it.
You can’t write a law designed specifically to target one individual.

Its a no holds barred situation for the Democrats, that’s for sure. They will do and manufacture whatever they have to in order to remove him. No tactic is off limits. There are no constraints.
This new legislation could be used by Republicans at some point in the future, but based on their pathetic past history its unlikely they would ever turn the tables on the Democrats and demand tax information on them. Its too bad because it would be fun to watch the NY Dems hoisted on their own petard.
Yet Barr sits on his ass and does nothing. Justice does not exist in America.
well, if you can, I say the IRS should be instructed to publish all info on anyone by the name of Cuomo.
These people are nothing but EVIL. The devil knows his days are numbered and his minions are in a frenzy in all facets of life. Keep praying everyone. Cuomo enjoyed Epstein’s hospitality. Trump was one of the few Epstein acquaintances who volunteered to give evidence against him. He barred Epstein from Mara Lago.
This is a Bill of Attainder, which is unconstitutional.
