Are they the little brush rabbits? (I’m in coastal Oregon.) Coyotes seem sparse this year. Maybe if I push back the blackberries further....Saw a baby today. I may break out the bow and take a couple of sporting shots at the big one... there’s never just one...but I sighted in the pellet rifle, just in case.
I haven’t seen a rabbit in years here in our garden on the shore Humboldt Bay but my current weapon is a slingshot with marbles as ammo on other critters. We are having some of the best weather in my 86 years.
When seated on haunches the top of rabbit’s head is about 12 inches off the ground.
So decent sized....easily bugget than a whole chicken you get at the grocery store.
