Temporary Tattoos

This is a serious question, but I can't get a serious answer. Where can I get a temporary tattoo ? One that lasts as long as I like, be it a day or the rest of my life.

It goes like this. One steps into a tattoo parlor. You get the tattoo, and the tattoo parlor gives you a dissolving solution when you leave to be used whenever you like, or not.

I cannot believe this has not been invented.

“I am a lifelong libertarian.”

Why is that not surprising!

The dye is injected into the skin. It is multiple layers of skin down. Real tattoo ink cannot be dissolved away. It is the permanence of the ink that makes them, you know, permanent. If you could come up with something to dissolve it, the body would do that on its own.

It’s pretty clear, isn’t it.

I think you are limited by the fact that every 14? Days you slough off a full growth cycle of your skin cells ...anything painted on is thus sloughed off. A friend of mine used to do temp tats as a sideline to t shirt airbrushing.

The AB (Aryan Brotherhood) has a tried and true removal mechanism. A hot electric iron for anyone who goes inside with a shamrock.

Are you talking about Henna tattoos? VERY POPULAR IN THE INDIAN CULTURE. (How long does henna last on your skin? 1-4 weeks

Even if you exfoliated this morning! Henna can last 1-4 weeks, but usually it looks fresh for about a week and fades after that, depending on how fast your skin is renewing itself.)

How do I remove henna?

Apply toothpaste on tattoo and leave to dry then rub gently and wash. Try to remove henna color with olive oil. Soak a cotton ball in olive oil and rub it on henna tattoo, for quick removing processes add some salt with olive oil. Allow oil to penetrate into the skin for at least 10 minutes.

Henna, also known as mehndi, holds great importance in the Indian culture. It involves the creation of embellishing designs on a woman's body with the help of a thick paste, which is created from the crushed dry leaves of the aromatic henna plant.

Can a henna tattoo be permanent?

The paraphenylenediamine in the tattoo is a strictly controlled substance in the EU, it is legal to use as hair dye on the continent but it is illegal to use PPD on skin. It can cause itching and severe burns. ... "The advice is clear, please avoid so-called 'black henna' temporary tattoos."

My 13 year old Granddaughter does temporary tatoos at events and makes a fair amount of money doing it. She and her Brother are extremely talented artists.

No one in family has a real one.

There has been invented a brand of tattoo ink, the name of which escapes me, which breaks down much easier with laser therapy than conventional inks. It initially came in just black color and I’m not sure whether they’ve been able to accomplish anything different in different colors yet, but as far as I know that’s the least permanent ‘permanent’ tattoo option. People should realize that neither laser removal nor natural fading over years (cf. WWII/Korea ear vets’ tattoos nowadays) actually removes the pigment from the body. Instead the pigment is ingested by macrophages in the skin which gradually transport it to the lymph nodes, where it sits indefinitely. Laser therapy breaks up clumps of pigment into more digestible, for macrophages, chunks, and thus speeds the natural fading.

Henna? Try it - you'll like it - I think it goes away.

YMMV.

That’s the thing, search ‘full arm fake tattoo’. You’ll find what you need.

Henna. Lasts a few weeks, and fades gradually. But you will have it long enough to know if you want to keep it. It does come in just one color though.

Get a decal if you want to adorn your body, they are temporary and easily removed.
To me, tattoos are akin to defacing the Mona Lisa with graffiti.

That is a pointed verse of Holy Scripture, instructing God’s ancient people in a particular way of life. The Jerusalem Council did not refer to this practice as the Gospel and Holy Spirit went forth among the Gentiles.

Personally I question the practice, as it seems geared toward making an impression on people so as to be awarded status. That is called “pride,” which in turn ought to be avoided.

“They give you a knife.
You cut it off.”

A fellow I worked with got a tattoo of his girl friend’s name on his shoulder. When they broke up. The idiot used a belt sander to remove the tattoo.
