Feuding House Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, having been driven into each other's unloving arms by President Trump's tweets, held a sit-down, kind of the way mobsters do, presumably to persuade those of us on the outside that all's well between them, and above all, to get Trump to stop tweeting about them. Both are machine pols, after all, and rival machine pols aren't very different from rival mafia families. They have common interests and common enemies, after all...…..
Ocasio-Cortez was a bit more muted but had the same all's-well banalities, as if none of us had noticed that the pair were at each other's throats just two weeks ago: ……..

It depends on who is backing them. The gang of four are no more independent then players on a football team. They were hired to run for office, and told what to do. On the surface it appears they are doing what they have been told.
Now the question becomes if those that put them in office (and by that I don’t mean the voters) believe they are getting the results they wanted?
What was the real goal that the gang of four were suppose to accomplish (and I doubt they even know).
If the goal was to destroy the Democrat party, it appears to be working.
If the goal was to destroy President Trump then they are a failure.
I don’t believe for a minutes what they say and do (other than to cause chaos, dissent and class warfare) matters.
The big money people behind the Democrats have to be getting worried simply because the average American who seems to sleep between every election is waking up to the fake there are some very politically powerful people hate them and their way of life.
The gang of four are scaring Americans and that is bad for business.
Republicans do not have to get rid of the gang of four, the Democrats will do the job.

The winner is Trump and the Republicans. AOC is now the standard bearer of the Democrats in 2020. Just as planned.

My guess is Nancy told Cortez, “hey, here is how the game is played, now get in line.” And Cortez told her to go screw herself.
I would bet that AOC gets much more aggressive in her efforts to unseat the queen. She has already headed down that path.
