I think this was just round 1 of a 12 round match. Nancy is really fighting those who created the squad. The individual squad members are just the mouthpieces of those behind them.

Nancy is old, literally. She'll be 80 in March. AOC has fifty years of youth and vitality on her.(But not brains, that's for sure). Nancy better be in it for the long haul. 80 years old is not the optimum age to be dealing with constant stress.
