Most of the crime in these “sanctuary” abominations is tolerated because it is alien on alien violence. Imagine if this violence was inflicted on liberals on the upper west or east side of Manhattan or in some toney neighborhoods in Santa Monica or Thousand Oaks. As long as the aliens confine their overt violence among themselves work as maids, nannies, lawn mowers, pool boys and chicken pluckers, the liberals are content and oblivious.
I was in Western NY state visiting relatives who own a farm about 30 miles east of Buffalo. They stated that the farm across the street had about 15 Mexicans working for them. They are employed milking the dairy cows, etc. I did not realize to what extent that these illegal immigrants are employed in that type of business.
