All those empty seats for the Saints/Rams game is surprising.
That's no scrub game.

My Falcons did manage to beat the Eagles, but Matt Ryan drives me crazy.
He can't be trusted. No matter how good the game is going, it's almost a guarantee that "Mattie Ice" will do something completely stupid.

NFL trashed America.
America consigns NFL to the dumpster.

The first two weeks have had some great games but with the Patriots seeming brutal this year, it may just be another Pats SB year.

Metro area of 18 million people can’t scrounge up 70,000 fans for a clash of the top teams?

At least he isn’t Kirk Cousins. What a horrible signing.

Was it at the Rams? Then it's just the same set of issues that drove the NFL out of L.A. the first time. Just too many other ways to entertain yourself on a weekend (the beach, golf, barbecues, etc.)

Why go to a game where it is likely to be decided by the refs?

When you outscore your opponents 76-3 over your first two games, its hard to disagree with that statement.

Lots of empty seats in Miami 10 minutes before kickoff. The people that are here are mostly Patriots fans
Who would have ever dreamed that there would be empty seats at an NFL game just 10 minutes before kickoff?
This is unprecedented.

It takes years to build customer loyalty. Looks at cars. Once you buy one model/brand if you have good experience you buy another. I bought used box Honda Civic in the 80’s for my daughter. Car would not die. Since then I have bought Honda's. One car, 30 years of brand loyalty. The last one was a hybrid. Batteries failed at 130,000 miles. $3000 to replace. Not buying another. The NFL has done that to its fans, they aren't going back.

Metro area of 18 million people cant scrounge up 70,000 fans for a clash of the top teams? The only "Football" Games that sellout in LA are the ones involving the Mexican National Soccer team.

As soon as people tried doing something besides being a couch potato they were bound to discover that other pass times are more rewarding.
The NFL will never be what it once was.
Kids growing up today have a wider range of available hobbies and athletic persuits. Demographically football was already beginning to fade as these kids graduate and mostly don’t follow the big 3 professional sports. Kaepernick just accelerated what was gradually happening anyway.
