SINEAD O'Connor has accused Prince of trying to beat her up in a drug-fuelled attack at his Los Angeles home.
The Irish singer claimed he chased her with a pillow "filled with something hard" to whack her with during a bizarre late-night bust-up.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain today, Sinead said the pair clashed after her worldwide success with his song Nothing Compares 2U.
When quizzed about their relationship on the show, she said: "We did meet once but we didn't get on very well, we tried to beat each other up.
"Well, it was more he tried to beat me up and I was defending myself.
"It's not a joke, it's not a joke at all, it was a very frightening experience actually."
To be fair, I might tear up a pic of Commie Pope Che. But yes, it was a different Pope.

Not to defend Prince (of whom I have no opinion, good or bad), but I don’t believe a word that comes out of the mouth of “Sinbad” (Phil Hartman, RIP).

I met Prince in 1985 when he played at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse. He was maybe 5’ 5” with 5” platform shoes on.
FYI, Bruce Springsteen is also quite short and small.
I would guess Bruce is 5’6”.
I was 5’10” at the time. He was little in comparison to me.
However, Bruce seemed like a nice guy. He shook everyone’s hand and thanked us for setting up. He acted like a typical blue collar guy. On the other hand, Prince would not even speak to us. He was very standoffish. Plus he was surrounded by 4 very large security guys.
