I got lucky and didn’t have to go to Vietnam but almost killed myself in a near APC rollover a cliff. Still scares me to think how close I came.
God rest their souls and give comfort to those who new and loved them.
Most likely a rollover.
Roll over with turret separation.
Rollover with loose equipment inside.
Prayers for All involved including Families. RIP Soldiers Thank You All for Your Service. Prayers for the Healing of the Injured.

I spent a good portion in my Army duty in Mechanized Divisions. Looking back,I am lucky I never was injured peacetime, peacekeeping or actual combat duty. I have many stories but one that comes to mind is a Bradley at night that veered off a elevated narrow trail and plunged into a canal. The crew never had a chance. Army divers had to recover them.
Prayers for these soldiers.
May they rest in peace.
FTXs are not fun and games.

Not a stranger to these loses, in the 60’s - 70’s the ARNG Div I was in, had incidents every year they did the ADT. Jeeps being run over by tanks on the tank trail, guys sleeping in the APC and being asphyxiated, Jeeps with powder bags exploding, roll overs, chopper stalls, 2.5 trucks backing up and crushing those between it and the building etc.etc.. ADT can be as dangerous as combat some times. Military accidents are no different than civilian ones. It depends on the same factors, driver, condition, experience and reaction.
