The abortion industry loves to promote their doctors as champions of women. However, their portrayal of these “champions of choice” is quite different from reality. And no one knows this better than the abortion industry itself. At a National Abortion Federation seminar in 1993, Australian abortionist David Grundman said: “…abortion is still a very fringe-type practice. There aren’t a lot of people who want to get into abortion provision. And the ones that we do have applying to us for training often have very dodgy histories and backgrounds. And if you dig deep enough, you’ll find a death or two or a malpractice suit or a de-registration somewhere along the line. It’s very difficult to get good doctors that are committed and want to get involved in abortion provision.”
Grudman perfectly describes the “best and brightest” doctors that the abortion industry has to offer. Below are but a few of the many abortionists who have ended up in jail over the years. Keep in mind, many of these doctors were praised as “champions of women” by the pro-choice community, and the same doctors the abortion industry worked furiously to protect from prosecution.
The most well-known example is Kermit Gosnell, who operated what authorities called a “House of Horrors.” Gosnell was praised, for years, as a hero by the pro-choice movement while operating under unsanitary conditions and had unlicensed employees performing abortions. Finally, in May 2013, Gosnell was sentenced to life in prison for first-degree murder of three babies born alive, involuntary manslaughter for the death of a woman undergoing an abortion, and a slew of other charges for conditions at his clinic. 1
Georgia abortionist, Charles Rossmann, spent ten years hiding out in various European countries evading arrest for multiple counts of criminal abortion, drug charges, and Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution. One of these charges is from a case where he allegedly induced labor on a woman who was 31-weeks pregnant, and then locked her in his office before abandoning her there. Rossman was extradited from Germany, finally arrested in 2013, and is currently awaiting trial. 2
Abortionist Nicola Riley was arrested in 2011 and charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of second-degree murder, and one count of conspiracy to commit murder. 3 Charges were later dropped when the expert witness withdrew from the case due to pressure by the abortion lobby. 4 However, Riley was issued a public reprimand and was ordered to pay $5,000 for unprofessional conduct during a horrific botched abortion. 5 In 2013, the Maryland Board of Physicians issued an order that revoked her license and prohibits her from ever again applying for licensure or reinstatement in Maryland. 4
Abortionist Randall Whitney was arrested March 27, 2010, for aggravated battery of a patient. Whitney was attempting to administer medication when he failed to find a vein for “Amanda” (name changed for privacy), but injected the drug anyway. When “Amanda” felt a severe burning sensation in her arm and started to turn blue, she began to scream. As “Amanda” got off the table and tried to leave, Whitney slapped her and told her to “shut up because she was scaring other patients…” In 2012, authorities reduced the charges from a felony to a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to one day in jail and ordered to pay court costs. 6 Unfortunately, the Florida Board of Medicine did not take the event more seriously and only issued him a slap on the wrist.
Alicia Ruiz Hanna, an abortion clinic operator in California, was in financial trouble and decided to pose as a physician – despite the lack of medical training. In 1995, she was sentenced to 16 years to life for second-degree murder after an abortion patient, Angela Nieto Sanchez, had a seizure on the examination table and died. Judge Everett Dickey described Hanna as “callous and self-serving” when she did not to try to save Sanchez’s life, and even refused to allow an assistant to dial 911 out of fear her illegal abortion work would be discovered. 7 To further cover up her actions, Hanna then told Sanchez’s two children, who were waiting for their mother in the waiting room, that their mother had left without them. After waiting around most of the day, a relative picked them up and began a citywide search for their mother. When they returned to the clinic, they found Hanna trying to stuff Sanchez’s body into a car trunk, intending to dump the corpse in Tijuana.
Apparently, the California State Medical Board was never concerned about abortionist Laurence Reich’s history of sexual assault. The abortionist was sentenced to 10 years probation for sexual abuse of three patients in 1982, but was allowed to continue to practice medicine. Not suprisingly, he was convicted again in 2002, of two counts of sexually molesting his abortion patients. Despite a conviction, he only spent one day in jail before returning back to work. 8 After returning to the job, Reich continued to molest his patients. It wasn’t until February of 2006 that his medical license was rescinded. However, this didn’t dissuade Reich from performing abortions. In 2008, abortionist Laurence Reich was arrested and jailed for practicing medicine without a license after it was discovered he had been doing
In 1999, abortionist Neville W. Duncan was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 18 months probation, and fined $250 after pleading no contest to charges that he beat his wife. Duncan was arrested after allegedly punching his wife in the car, then pinning her to the ground and slapping her after she climbed out the window of the vehicle. Records show that at the time of his arrest, Duncan was in possession of cocaine. As a result, he was also charged with a misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. News reports indicate that Duncan has also served time for contempt of court, when he failed to provide the required child support he owed.
After his Florida medical license was suspended due to the death of Gloria Small, abortionist Ronald Tauber moved to Michigan. In 1985, Tauber was convicted of First Degree criminal sexual assault, and Second-Degree criminal sexual conduct with a six-year-old girl. Tauber was also cited for masturbating in his car outside a high school where young girls were exiting. Five weeks later, while out on bail, he was arrested for indecent exposure, attempted kidnapping and First-Degree criminal sexual conduct with a 12-year-old girl. The charges later were reduced to indecent exposure and dismissed. Tauber was released from prison on parole until August 15, 1991. Tauber was later licensed to practice by the state of New York in August of 1992. 9
Many remember abortionist Ashutosh “Ron” Virmani for his opinions on “those ugly black babies.” Two years later, in May of 2014, Virmani was arrested on charges of second-degree rape and two counts of second-degree sexual offense. According to the police report, he sexually assaulted a woman at his home and prevented her from leaving. Virmani was released on a $150,000 bond 10 and then in 2014 the charges against him were dismissed. In April 2015, his record was expunged.
Bertha Pinedo Bugarin ran a chain of abortion clinics in California aimed at Hispanic women in low-income neighborhoods. Like all abortionists, hers were the washouts of medicine, and as a result had trouble keeping them. So Bugarin decided to do the abortions herself – despite not having a license. She was arrested and charged with seven felony charges after nine women came forward about their horrific experiences. Bugarin was sentenced to three years, four months in prison for these charges as well as a six year, eight month sentence in another county. 11
In February of 2006, the Department of Justice launched the nationwide Project Safe Childhood. This was initiated to protect and rescue children who are being exploited and abused, especially online. One of the cases prosecuted under this project was against former Planned Parenthood abortionist, George Kabacy. When the FBI searched his home in 2006, they found what was later described as one of the largest child pornography collections in the Western District of Washington with over 8,000 images. Evidence indicated that his involvement with this had gone on for some time. Kabacy allowed to be released to house arrest until the trial under the condition he was to immediately stop practicing medicine. Later, in 2008, he was sentenced to six and a half years in prison. 13
On May 27, 2014, abortionist Thomas Michaelis surrendered his license to practice medicine after he was indicted on federal charges of receiving and distributing child pornography. A look at his criminal history proves this is not an isolated incident. In 1991, he was cited by the Ohio Medical Board for Attempted Gross Sexual Imposition, Voyeurism, and Public Indecency with friends of his young daughter. Despite the overwhelming testimony in the criminal trial, he was only sentenced to 15 months in prison and later served only two months of his sentence. Even more shocking is the delay by the Ohio Medical Board to revoke his license, only to reinstate it a few years later- where he became an abortion doctor at the Toledo Capital Care Network. 14
Co-owner of the now closed A Gyn Diagnostic Center in Florida, Belkis Gonzalez, had several brushes with the law. In December 2007, she was convicted and sentenced to five years probation for practicing medicine without a license. 15 Gonzalez also allowed at least four staff members to perform duties that required trained medical personnel. Two of these staff members were also performing abortions without a medical license. Then again in 2009, she was charged with a second-degree felony for practicing medicine without a license that resulted in serious bodily injury. In addition, she was charged with a third-degree felony of tampering with/fabricating evidence when she lied about a baby born alive during a botched abortion. The child was stuffed into a bio-hazard bag and sealed inside, and thrown away. Later when the police discovered Gonzalez had lied, she hid the child on the roof to avoid it being found in the second police search of the clinic. 16
In March 2004, abortionist Ronald Stevenson made a plea-bargain that reduced his five felony and misdemeanor sexual abuse charges. As a result, he was convicted on two counts of inappropriately touching or kissing a patient and sentenced to five years probation. 29 In statements made to the police, several nurses stated they had witnessed Stevenson inappropriately touch and kiss his patients. This wasn’t the first time Stevenson was in trouble for inappropriately touching his patients. While operating in Washington, a woman reported to authorities that she awoke from anesthesia to find Stevenson caressing her. However, the case was dropped when the police couldn’t get the woman to assist in collecting more evidence against him. In July of 2005, the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners issued Stevenson a Stipulated Order where he surrendered his medical license, ineligible to reapply for a minimum of two years, and only after completing an evaluation. Also, as part of an earlier agreement, he must offer a chaperone to all female patients ages 16 years old and older. 30
Alabama and Mississippi abortionist Malachy DeHenre is no stranger to abortion injuries. On at least three occasions, he perforated a patient’s uterus. (June 2000, March 2002, & November 2003) Each time, both he and the clinic’s staff failed to properly care for the patients, resulting in one death and two total hysterectomies. 17 As a result, DeHenre lost his license to practice medicine in three states. His shining medical history doesn’t end there. He had previously been charged with raping a 21-year-old former patient in March 1992. 18 DeHenry is now in prison serving a 20 year sentence, issued in 2010, for killing his wife back in 1997. 19 johnbaxterhamilton-mug-239x300
An abortionist for Oklahoma Clinic for Women, John Hamilton, was convicted in December 2001 for the murder of his wife, Susan Hamilton. 1 Being called the “Valentine’s Day Murder,” Hamilton choked and beat his wife to death just two days after she talked of divorce. Evidence suggests that Susan suspected her husband was having an affair and was considering leaving him. Hamilton was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. After his conviction, both Oklahoma and Tennessee revoked his medical license. Later, he voluntarily surrendered his Georgia license. 20 stevenchasebrigham
Abortionist Steven Chase Brigham has a history of blatantly disregarding the law. Brigham and his associate Nicola Riley operated a dangerous, illegal late-term abortion practice that involved inducing labor in New Jersey then transporting patients to Maryland to complete the procedure. They continued to use this method despite Brigham not being licensed in Maryland nor being licensed to do late term procedures. This scam finally ended when a woman was taken, via Brigham’s private vehicle, to the emergency room from a horrific, life-threatening botched abortion. Due to the severity of the woman’s injuries and the suspicious behavior of Brigham and Riley, the hospital staff notified police and the Maryland Board of Physicians. Both he and Riley were arrested on murder charges after a police raid of his Maryland facility, but were later dropped when the expert witness withdrew from the case. In 2013, it was discovered after an interview with an injured patient, that Brigham did not have the required malpractice insurance, and had not carried it since 2006. 21 Maryland has issued a cease and desist order and the state of New Jersey is charging him with several counts of negligence and unprofessional conduct. Brigham has lost licenses in at least six other states, however he still operates clinics in Delaware, Virginia, and Florida. Operation Rescue has discovered that he arranged paper transfers of ownerships of clinics that he, in practice, still owns and operates in states that he is no longer allowed to practice in. 22 As of August 2014, a NJ judge recommended that he should have his NJ medical license revoked and pay a fine of $30,000. 23 lehrer-wwn
When abortionist Theodore Lehrer’s pregnant wife refused to sleep with him one night due to sickness from her pregnancy, he handcuffed her and raped her. 24 Just when she thought it might be over, he performed an abortion on her – against her will and without anesthesia. Afterward, Mrs. Lehrer called the police and was admitted to the hospital for two days. A doctor at the hospital confirmed that she had indeed been pregnant and had an abortion. Lehrer later admitted he tied his wife’s hands and had sex with her but denied performing the abortion. 25 He was charged with kidnapping and sexual battery. Lehrer’s wife later dropped the charges and as a result his suspended medical license was reinstated. 26 Today, Lehrer owns and operates the All Women’s Clinic in Florida. The clinic boasts on its website that he is associated with the National Abortion Federation, “a national organization that periodically sets the highest standards of excellence and only provides accreditation to those abortion clinics and providers that are in compliance with their Clinical Policy Guidelines.”
In 2000, Abortionist Stephen Pack was sentenced to two years in prison for charges of assault and forced abortion. Pack had gotten his girlfriend, clinic nurse Joy Schepis, pregnant and urged her to have an abortion for the sake of his marriage. Schepis refused and told him she would raise the child without his support. Not long after, Pack confronted her again in the clinic’s parking lot. When his girlfriend refused again to get an abortion, he shouted, “I’m going to give you an abortion!” Witnesses reported that Pack then stabbed Joy in the buttocks and thighs with two syringes filled with Methotrexate. 27 Fortunately the attempt to abort the child failed, and Schepis later gave birth to a healthy baby boy. The abortionist later issued a public apology; but Schepis told reporters “I don’t think he’s very sorry for anything except that he’s going to jail…” 28 rapin-osathanongh
Abortionist Rapin Osathanondh first made the news in 2001 when five nurses went to the police reporting he had threatened to kill them. In a staff meeting over some missing forms from the nurse’s station, it was reported that he told the nurses, “I’m going to execute people. I’m going to execute you Texas-style.” 31 Later, in 2007, Osathanondh botched an abortion on 22-year-old Laura Hope Smith. Due to his and an untrained staff member’s failure to monitor her vitals, lacking the equipment to do so, and his delay in calling for an ambulance, Laura was dead before she got to the hospital. Following her death, Osathanondh repeatedly lied to his staff about his actions during the procedure. 32 Apparently the authorities were not convinced and he was sentenced to two and a half years in prison. Through a plea bargain, his sentence was reduced to six months with the possibility of parole after just three months. 33 As a result, Osathanondh surrendered his medical license, closed his two abortion offices, and is barred from practicing and teaching medicine. 34 Brian_Finkel
Finally in 2004, with the help of Life Dynamics, Phoenix abortionist Brian Finkel was sentenced to 35 years in prison for 22 counts of sexual assault of his patients. 35 For years, Finkel had been on Life Dynamics’ radar for groping and assaulting his patients; however, local authorities had not taken the situation seriously until one of the victims came forward to the press. After the story ran, as many as 70 women contacted authorities with similar stories. One woman testified that on the day of her abortion she “remembers waking up, opening my eyes, his hands were on my breasts groping me.” When Finkel told her that he was going to touch her in other places, the alarmed patient looked to the female attendant who was in the room with him, but the abortion staffer just turned away. 36 Interviews with clinic staff revealed that: “Finkel would particularly fondle the breasts of larger-chested women or women with breast enhancement.” “If she was attractive, he’d find a way to be alone with the patient.” 37 38 Recently, an appeals court upheld the charges and only gave a minor reduction of his sentence. Brian Finkel won’t be eligible for parole for another 20 years. 31

Through leftist, atheist ideology, the US has pursued inhumane practices over a wide range of disciplines: medical, educational, political, economic, social, religious, sexual, cultural,and personal. Practices include but are not limited to: abortion, brainwashing, educational impoverishment, drug experimentation, drug induced imprisonment especially of children, government and corporate sponsored drug addiction, moral turpitude, enforced poverty, sexual deviance, and a host of other restrictions, addictions, abuses, and impoverishments. We are already paying a terrible price for these crimes against humanity.
