I know the majority here do not understand what it is like to be uninsurable with no one willing to insure you. I couldn’t get coverage before Obamacare because of sleep apnea.
I am thankful for Obamacare...even if it is high in cost. I just wish they would pare back some of the requirements so that the price would come down.
And no, there was no other option other than Christian Health Sharing plans. I don’t trust them to pay out high dollars for heart attacks, strokes, or coma.
With all due respect, the notion of trusting Zerocare over Christian health-share plans seems to bespeak a certain point of view.
Well... Zerocare works until they run out of everyone else’s money.... or unril you are deemed surplus due to age, infirmity, or white privilege.
No, it doesn’t. Your statement is ignorant. Health Share ministries have been plagued with Fraud. They don’t have to pay. And not only that, if they don’t have the money to pay a million dollar coma claim then they don’t pay.
One CEO used funds for things that he shouldn’t have ended up involved with the next health share plan but his involvement is hidden.
Do some research before you make ignorant statements like you just made to me
Btw, would you want to trust a $500k medical bill to this guy???
“Aliera is operated by Shelley Steele of Marietta, Ga., and her husband, Timothy Moses, who was convicted in 2006 of federal securities fraud and perjury. He was sentenced to 6½ years in prison and ordered to repay more than $1 million to victims.”
It is just one minor example of many.
Btw, I do have a Christian Health Share plan but I use it for backup to pay the deductible. I would never trust it to pay for a million dollar claim...although they do have limits. Not even sure what the one is that I have.
STILL??? And these clowns talk about Medicare for All. A lot of people will die waiting to sign up for that pipe dream.
