What caused this high tide 50 years ago? Global cooling?


They changed the bussword to climate change. It covers all bases.

That phrase didn't scare people enough, so the new ones are "Climate Emergency" or "Climate Catastrophe".

"Climate Apocalypse" is probably next.

If the climate didn’t change, the temperature a year from now would be the same as it is today and every year hence. There would be no need for weather forecasters, we’d just look and see with precision what each days weather will bring in perpetuity.

I guess building that barrier protection system didn’t blend with their ideas about global warming. Maybe they feel that the tides are a product of global warming. Well, why not? Everything else is said to be.
