And, if there is a reason cannot the same goals be achieved by working countries that would actually welcome us like Hungary, Poland and a few others?
Eastern European countries are welfare states paid by Germany. They would be pleased to have one more sugar daddy though. But they would be allies for as long as they are happy with your paycheck.
