A Massachusetts woman was mauled to death by the family dog while suffering a seizure, according to a report.
Melissa Astacio, 44, was having a seizure around 5:30 p.m. in her Somerset home when the 8-year-old pit bull attacked her, news station WJAR reported.
Her daughter, Heaven, was calling 911 for help when the dog named Amigo pounced on the woman, who had a history of seizures.
I dont think he was trying to attack her, her daughter told WJAR. I think the dog was just trying to help my mom but hes just a dog and he didnt know any better.

Dog of Peace®
(as if I even needed to ask)
The lesson here to remember is; while you might be having a seizure, the situation can still get worse.
Here we go again, but of course, it's not the pit bull's fault.
This breed needs to be declared by Congress as exotic animals, which require special licensing and facilities to legally keep.
“when the dog named Amigo pounced on the woman”
Amigo wasn’t much of a friend to her to maul her to death.
No,just outlaw the damned things
I remember when we were kids and our collies would herd us away from the street back to the safety of our yard, but they were just dogs and they didnt know any better.
One can never trust a pit bull...they are more insane than they are dog...
If only people were more intelligent than dogs.
Pit bulls have high cortisol levels...
When we domesticate animals we breed for LOW cortisol levels.
Some breeds of dog are reverse domesticated....
Aahh the Pitbull Hate Squad makes their appearance yet again
Same morons, same meme
Pits are way down the list as it pertains to Dog attacks but no one can swerve you from your hatred
