Dr. Drew says he might challenge Adam Schiff for congressional seat

Pinsky, who has been an outspoken commentator on homelessness and the opioid crisis, told The Hill that seeing the impeachment hearings on television increased his desire to get involved in the political process.
“I was watching all the impeachment proceedings and I was going, ‘Oh my God, our Congress is tied up and we’re dying out here in California. What are these people doing?’ ”
Pinsky, 61, lamented the lack of action from Schiff, specifically with regard to the issue of homelessness in the state of California.
“I wake up every day and drive through this town and I am morally moved where I feel like I have to do something,” he said. “We have people literally dying in our streets.”
“Believe me, I don’t want to,” he said. “I’d have to change my whole life, and I’m not really prepared to do that just yet.
“But the fact that I keep thinking about it tells me how profound the problems are,” Pinsky added. “That I feel obliged to maybe turn my life upside down just to get things governed out here. I am constantly morally mobilized because of the condition of what’s going on here in California.”

What Mike Lee didn’t like was not that the intelligence wasn’t good or good reason for action, but that the briefers had the nerve to tell the Senators that arguing about it publicly was helping our enemies.
So it’s all about his pride.

Oh weston! I am so sorry to hear this. My husbands sister had this and it is NOT a good thing to have. Like you said many things could have caused it.
My husbands blood work yesterday showed his hemoglobin was way down again so his doctor sent him to a different hospital to get a transfusion and they have an In House gastrologist who today will do a colonoscopy and down the throat to check the stomach. Hopefully they will find out what is causing the bleeding. Pray for him as at his age etc; the anesthetic could be dangerous.
You and NIKK have been doing a great job on the thread. So happy someone took over to help Dolly Calli out. She did a marvelous thread and is going to be hard to beat.

Why does anyone believe any of these polls? They’ve been off for years, not even close. 2016 should be a lesson that most of us don’t waste time on polls. Good or bad they can’t be trusted.

Having done these briefings MANY times myself, this is an entirely improper question for a member of Congress to ask of a briefer. The briefers were clearly from DoD and/or the Intelligence Community. That question is a matter of policy, NOT intelligence and is not the purview of the IC and those two assholes should know that.
