The leaders and socialists in europe want it all to die.
And the people who don’t, people like Douglas Murray, have resigned themselves to the probability that it’s not reversible.
It could easily be reversible with the proper mindset and fortitude.
So Murray’s probably correct in his assessment. Much of the blame is on the leaders.
In this episode of Uncommon Knowledge, Peter Robinson is joined by author and columnist Douglas Murray to discuss his new book The Madness of Crowds: Race, Gender and Identity. Murray examines the most divisive issues today, including sexuality, gender, and technology, and how new culture wars are playing out everywhere in the name of social justice, identity politics, and intersectionality. Is European culture and society in a death spiral caused by immigration and assimilation? Robinson and Murray also discuss the roles that Brexit and the rise of populism in European politics play in writing immigration laws across the European Union.
Rome died, so too will Europe for the same reasons, unless they see their defilement. What is the chance of that?

Thanks. I haven’t read it. He’s a very clear thinker. I enjoy his interviews/talks.
We aren’t far behind if a lot of idiot pols get their way. America suffers when multi-culturalism is allowed to take root. We lose our common culture and become even more divided.
Armageddon was fought there. Early 20th century. They tried to completely exterminate the Jews. Apocalypse will soon be upon them.
“Rome” as in the Roman Empire declined (didn’t die) for different reasons:
Western half:
1. Economic: the Western half declined because it didn’t set up a strong economic base, because it was subject to hyper-inflation and because the army was constantly promised larger salaries leading to debasement of the currency.
2. Civil strife - the Empire divided with Britannia/Gaul forming the Gallic Empire and the rest.
3. Not successfully co-opting the Germanics. The Germans adopted Roman culture and language readily, but were not co-opted effectively (look at Spain and France, both conquered by Germanic tribes yet within a few generations they spoke a Latin-based dialect and were Latinised heavily in culture)
East:
1. Religious strife - this caused the Semitic and Egyptian parts to break away and later support their fellow Semites, the Arabs. Also, the persecution of Jews led to Jews supporting the Arab armies
2. Economic - Egypt and North Africa were the economic hubs of the Eastern Empire. Losing them was a blow
3. Internecine wars with Sassanid Persia that sapped both empires
